Our 5 Step Air Duct Cleaning Process

1. CONSULT & EVALUATE
Our technician will consult with you and explain the process of what will be done in your home. He will also determine the best way to set up and also figure out how your system is set up before he be-gins the process. He will also determine the condition of your filters.

2. PREPARATION & SET UP
Our technician will cut access panels into the trunk line and cold air return as needed. We will also protect your floors, walls and corners from getting dirty or scratched. Once we have prepared the area, an 8” hose will be attached to your furnace to begin the cleaning process.

3. COMPONENTS, REGISTERS & GRILLS

The components of your furnace will be cleaned by hand and with our equipment along with your heat registers and the grills of your cold air returns. The boot entry in the registers will be brushed off or wiped out for optimal results.

4.CLEAN VENT AND COLD AIR RETURN
Specialty tools are used to break apart the dirt trapped in the system, each vent and cold air return will be cleaned individually with these tools. The negative air system will pull the dirt out to our powerful super-vac truck, leaving no mess in your home before, during or af-ter the process.

5. COMPLETION OF SERVICE

We will change or clean any filters in need. We will also sanitize your system for maximum effectiveness. We even wipe your doors for any smudge marks which may or may not have occurred from us.

1. Why should I clean my air ducts?
There are a number of reasons why you should clean your air ducts. These contaminants include such things as fungi, bacteria, pet dander and dust, all of which accumulate in your HVAC System over time. The removal of these contaminants from your homes heating and cooling sys-tem should be considered a major part of your overall plan to improve indoor air qual-ity and ensure the safety of your family, em-ployees, or customers

2. How often should I clean my air ducts?
The frequency of air duct cleaning depends on several factors, smokers or pets in the home, water contamination, residents with allergies or asthma, after renovations or prior to moving into a new home all are fac-tors in determining when and how often a Heating and Air Conditioning system should be cleaned. Our general rule of thumb is an air duct system could be cleaned as often as every two years but no more than five years should elapse between cleanings.

3. How do you clean a residential air duct system or central air system?
We have truck mounted power vacuums. These vacuums place the system under negative air pressure. We then use dislodg-ing equipment to knock loose the dust, dirt, and debris from the duct walls. Once the debris is airborne, the vacuum is able to re-move it. Our cleaning includes the entire Air Handling System.
